A starter to focus on students recapping previous knowledge but also helping to foster a culture of redrafting, shared with us by jmosley_history. 

Spotlighting

Use this resource to get students to focus on all parts of the source. Simply place the black shape to the back and replace the image and then bring it forward. The circle will move on its own 

Presidential World Cup Worksheet: JFK vs LBJ

A worksheet that @Jmosley_history created to help students compare the policies of the two presidents but could  be easily adapted to help students compare any historical topic.

American West Story: Part 1

A great revision resource for the American West created by @LesleyMunro4 recapping the key events of the american west, with another version which has gap fills and questions for students to answer. 

Lesson: How and why did the cattle industry develop?

A lesson by @LesleyMunro4  that looks at the cattle industry for American West. The Lesson includes a recap starter and a number of worksheets and tasks to help them understand the narrative question.

A - B Starter

A recap starter where students have to answer questions to get from A to B but are challenged to pass through as many colours as possible. Coloured section could have different topics or question types challenging chronology, defining key words and explaining.

Learning Postcard

This Learning Postcard by @Jmosley_history is  great resource to use as a homework to get students to recap and practice their oracy.

Catchphrase Recap

Students answer the questions on the corresponding work sheet and then recap as a class answering the questions and clicking on them to reveal sections of a picture  until someone can guess what the source or picture behind is about 

Spinner Starter
